Kabuchai Member of Parliament, Majimbo Kalasinga has pledged his support to Teremi Boys High School following their stellar performance in football at the county level.
The MP visited the school to personally congratulate the team for emerging as Bungoma County champions and earning the right to represent the region at the upcoming regional competitions.
In a gesture of encouragement, Kalasinga donated a full set of football uniforms, socks, the Kenyan national flag, the school’s ‘Samba Boys’ team flag, and the official Championship flag.
“Teremi Boys have demonstrated true sportsmanship and discipline on the pitch. They are not just playing for their school—they’re now flying the flag for the entire county,” Kalasinga said, “We are proud of them and confident they will shine at the regional level.”

The team, known locally as the ‘Samba Boys’, has built a strong reputation for its dynamic style of play, capturing the attention of local football enthusiasts.
School Chief Principal, John Wakwabubi, welcomed the MP’s visit and praised his continued support for co-curricular activities in the constituency.
“This kind of encouragement goes a long way in boosting the morale of our students,” said Wakwabubi. “We thank MP Kalasinga for recognizing and supporting the talent that exists in our schools.”

As the regional tournament approaches, excitement is building in Kabuchai Constituency, with residents rallying behind the team as they prepare to face off against top schools from neighboring counties.
Teremi High School will be representing Bungoma County in what promises to be a highly competitive regional stage.
