Kabianga High School has beaten all odds to emerge the leading school in the 2021 KCSE examination results in Kericho County.
In an analysis report signed by the Chief Principal, Dr. Joash Aloo, the school with an entry of 349 candidates had 15 students who attained A plain which was an increase from 6 students in the previous year. A- (Minus) increased from 53 in 2020 to 71 in 2021, B Plus were 89 as compared to 90 in 2020, B plain were 79 which rose from 50 in 2020, B- Minus were 48, a drop from 50 as C Plus were 34, an increase from 27 while C-Plain were 13.
This year’s sterling performance saw an increase in the mean score from 8.996 to 9.3467.
Second position in the county went to Kipsigis Girls who attained a mean score of 9.2 while Moi Tea Girls took third position with 9.14.
Moi Tea Girls provisional results indicate the following: A-0, A Minus – 18, B Plus – 40,B Plain-51, B Minus- 23, C Plus -10, C Plain- 3 while one candidate managed a C minus.
Cheborge Boys also posted good results as seen by Education News; In a signed performance analysis by the Principal, Mr. Wilfred Obuya, it reveal the school had an entry of 247 where a whooping 218 candidates managed to gain university entry with a university transition rate of 88.3 %.
Cheborgei Boys had; A-0,A- 4,B Plus- 39,B Plain-55,B -Minus -63,C Plus-57,C Plain-19 while those with a C Minus were 6 students. In 2020 the school attained a mean point of 7.5819.
Cheborgei Girls managed to post a mean grade of 7.12.
