Six Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (KESSHA) Kisii Central Sub-county branch has elected new office bearers for five years during an election held in Nyeri County recently.
Nelson Omwenga Nyakundi, Principal Nyanchwa Boys High School was elected as chairman.
Lawrence Otiso, Principal Masongo mixed secondary school will be the vice-chair.
Nyakundi replaces the immediate former Nyatieko Mixed High school senior Principal Timothy Oboso Atuti who has been promoted to Borabu Teachers Training College.
Pamella Maina, Principal Nyanguru Secondary was elected KESSHA Secretary within the Kisii Central Sub-county while her vice Secretary will be Martin Nyasimi of Irondi.
Harun Mageka Matoya, Principal Riondong’a twin school retained his position as treasurer whereas Principal Nyamemiso High school Peter Mwoma was elected an organizing secretary to the same sub county.
The post of vice organizing secretary was scooped by Mrs Atieno Otieno of Kereri Girls High school who replaced Esther Ong’ondi the long serving Principal of the school.
Innocent Siro, Principal Senior Chief Musa Nyandusi Kegati High was elected to be in charge of sports.
George Okeyyo, Principal Nyaguta High mixed school landed the post of Science, Engineering and trade fair while Principal Gianchere High school Kennedy Onchiri was elected to the position of Drama office.
Music post went to Kaibe Stephen, the Principal Nyosia Secondary.
