Governor on the spot as child dies at Machakos level five hospital

Family of the six-year-old boy during the burial in Mwala on Friday

Mwala Member of Parliament Vincent Musyoka Musau has castigated Machakos governor Wavinya Ndeti for downplaying the emotions of the family of a six-year-old boy who died in Machakos level five hospital.

Speaking during the burial of the little boy Kawaya, the MP said that Wavinya is not to blame for what happened but she is to blame for keeping quiet when incompetence and negligence are happening under her watch.

He said that the governor being a woman should have sympathized with the family that is so much pain and in darkness about the cause of their son’s death.

“Her reckless talk that going to theatre you have to sign to live or to die, you don’t talk like that when a family is mourning, their child was overdosed by the doctor handling him,” the MP added.

Additionally, he noted that he will follow up with the issue and ensure the family gets justice.

Reportedly, Baby Francis Mbatha died two weeks ago in the ICU after being taken to the hospital for minor surgery for a small growth on his hand.
