A family in Kericho County is appealing for public assistance to trace Cherotich Towett, a student at Sigowet Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), who has been missing since December 22.
Relatives say she left Sigowet for her home in Keringet, Kapmwaura area, but did not arrive as expected.
Family members and friends have been unable to reach her since that day, prompting deep concern and a coordinated search. The disappearance has been reported to the police, and the family is working closely with authorities as investigations continue.

They are urging anyone who may have seen Cherotich along the route or at bus stops to come forward with information that could help locate her. Describing her as focused and responsible, the family says her sudden disappearance is out of character.
Members of the public with any information are requested to contact 0729 813 033 or 0714 569 515, or report to the nearest police station. The family also appeals for her photo to be shared widely, noting that even a single tip could be crucial in bringing her home safely.
