A comedian Eric Omondi in collaboration with Sisi Kwa Sisi movement has constructed a primary school for Turkana kids. In a video shared on social media platforms, the new school is equipped with books, uniforms, and shoes.
The school, known as Teacher Kamaret Primary School has been dedicated to Elizabeth Kamaret who has been committedly teaching children under a tree.
Omondi was elated for the opportunity to contribute in brightening the journey of the learners hailing the selflessness of Kamaret, who had dedicated her time to educate children despite the challenges.
More classrooms
He further said that more classrooms are needed and more than half of the learners lack uniforms. The comedian added that he is keen on continuing with initiatives that will boost education in the area.
His followers on the social media platforms were impressed while some even inquired on how they can contribute to ensure the learners have enough resources and conducive environment for learning.

Omondi has been on the forefront in assisting Kenyans bedeviled by various problems.
