Dr. Mambili, who served as Chief Principal, retired on July 31, 2025, after years of service marked by academic excellence and institutional growth.

Dr. Luvasu’s appointment comes after weeks of uncertainty, following alleged political interference that sought to influence the selection process.

The transition was not without controversy, as competing interests and resistance from key stakeholders, including the school’s Board of Management and the alumni body who demanded transparency in the whole process, this greatly delayed consensus.

Despite the tensions and controversy, today’s event signaled a formal and peaceful transition of power. All eyes are now on Dr. Luvasu as the school community now looks ahead with optimism as the new leadership settles.
