A sombre mood has engulfed a family in Nyabera village in South Etago Sub County, Kisii County after a University graduate died just few days after his father died in road accident on his way home from hospital.
It is reported that the father the late James Nyakweba died after vehicle he was in missed the road and hit a house along the road and killing him instantly.
His wife and driver sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospital for treatment as the husband’s body was taken to the same hospital mortuary for preservation pending burial arrangements.
The two surviving sons visited their mother and driver in hospital and shared the horrifying experience of their father’s demise as they consoled their mother at the hospital bed.

It was from there when the second son who graduated two years ago from University started feeling general dizziness at the hospital ward where they visited their mother.
The hospital authority recommended bedrest for him, however after he took a rest he never woken up, later declared dead.
When his mother Jeriah Sangae Nyakweba, a primary school teacher and former member of Kisii County Public Service Board heard about the double death, she requested the hospital authorities to discharge her from hospital prematurely to go home and reflect on the situation of two family deaths in a week.
