Director satisfied with how KCPE, KPSEA exams were conducted

Makueni Sub County Director of Education Yophes Magara has said the just concluded Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) national examinations were conducted satisfactorily.

He expressed hopes that Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) will be conducted smoothly with less or no hitches.

“We thank God that there were no issues reported and lucky enough no candidate required emergency services,” said Magara.

He noted that there were 117 and 119 centers for KCPE and KPSEA exams respectively in the county.

There were 4,261 KCPE candidates where 2,213 were boys and 2,047 were girls while for KPSEA there were 3,424 where 1,797 were boys while 1,627 were girls.

He observed that prisoners were not left behind as 7 of them sat for their KCPE exams as well.

Magara thanked all the examiners for their commitment in playing their roles accordingly adding that the efforts will contribute to good results.
