A Bumula politician and philanthropist Jack Wanami Wamboka has paid one year school fees for two secondary school students.
The students, who come from poor families, could not hide their joy.
Speaking to Education News at Cardinal Maurice Otunga Tabuti sub parish church in Bumula constituency, Wamboka said poverty should not be a hindrance to children achieving their dreams.
He was speaking when he handed over the fees to Amos Simiyu of Lumboka Secondary School and Michael Waswa of Mateka Secondary School in South Bukusu Ward.
“It is the heart that gives that receives. Despite these two coming from needy families, they are determined to make it in life,” said Wamboka.
