Raywer Secondary School has booked a place in the Awendo sub-county football final after a successful appeal that overturned their semi-final defeat against St. Timons Rabondo Secondary School.
The appeal, filed on grounds of fielding ineligible players, was reviewed by the relevant competitions committee, which ruled in favour of Raywer Secondary School.
The decision led to the disqualification of St. Timons Rabondo Secondary School, effectively reshaping the semi-final outcome.
Following the ruling, Raywer Secondary School has been reinstated as the winners and will now advance to the Awendo sub-county final.

The team has shown resilience throughout the tournament and will now turn its focus to the ultimate test.
In the final, Raywer will face Ulanda Secondary School, setting up what promises to be a tightly contested showdown as both schools chase the sub-county championship title and a chance to progress to the next level of competition.
The ruling has sparked mixed reactions within the local football community, with Raywer supporters celebrating the decision while St. Timons Rabondo officials are expected to consider further steps following the disqualification.
