The two-day conference, to be held at the university grounds, will be guided by the theme, “Planetary Health: Integrated Solutions for People, Ecosystems, AI, and Public Health,” reflecting the growing urgency for collaborative solutions to global environmental, technological, and health challenges.

According to the organisers, the international forum will provide a strategic platform for experts from diverse disciplines to interrogate emerging issues shaping the future of humanity and the planet, with special focus on Artificial Intelligence, ecosystem resilience, climate action, and public health systems.

Delegates drawn from universities, government institutions, research organisations, development agencies, and the private sector are expected to participate in keynote addresses, scientific paper presentations, innovation exhibitions, and high-level panel discussions.

The conference will also offer an opportunity for researchers, postgraduate students, and innovators to showcase groundbreaking studies and innovations aimed at promoting sustainable and resilient communities.

The conference is a major milestone in advancing research, knowledge exchange, and policy dialogue within Kenya’s higher education sector and beyond.

The forum is expected to strengthen academic collaborations and foster partnerships capable of driving impactful research and evidence-based solutions for Africa and the global community.

MMUST officials noted that the annual conference continues to position the university as a regional hub for research excellence, innovation, and multidisciplinary scholarship.
