Kipsang’ assures stakeholders of smooth running of national exams

Basic Education Principal Secretary Dr Belio Kipsang’ has revealed that the Ministry has put in place adequate measures to ensure that KCPE and KCSE exams go on without any challenges.

Speaking in Kesses, Kipsang said the ministry has dealt with some of the challenges affecting schools like issues of capitation and number of candidates in schools.

“We have asked all school heads who might still have challenges to bring them to the attention of our field officers so that things are streamlined. We have also put in place plans to ensure facilitation of our field officers to various exams centres,” he said.

Dr Kipsang’ further noted that the Ministry has ensured that food requirements in ASALs areas has been provided for and that children in those regions are well fed during the exam period.

He sent his best wishes to all the candidates and advised them not to panic since they have been well taught.
