Taita Taveta County Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Executive Secretary Lenox Mshila has called on the national and county governments to provide learning materials equally to all schools in the County for improved performance.
Speaking to Education News, Mshila mentioned that there are some County schools without even laboratories contributing to poor performance.
”All schools should have adequate resources both human and physical. It’s very unfortunate that some schools don’t have even a single laboratory. Marungu Girls is an example. How do you expect them to compete with their counterparts?
He also called upon the parents to be more supportive both financially and by instilling discipline to their children for better results to be realized.
