17-year-old student hospitalized after alleged police assault in Narok

A 17-year-old student from Naroosura Secondary School is receiving treatment at the Narok County Referral Hospital after reportedly sustaining severe injuries while in police custody at Naroosura Police Station in Narok South Sub-county.

According to preliminary reports, the student was allegedly assaulted while being detained under unclear circumstances.

Family members and local residents have called for a thorough investigation into the incident, demanding accountability from the officers involved.

Medical personnel at the Narok County Referral Hospital confirmed that the student is in stable condition but continues to undergo treatment for injuries consistent with physical assault.
