Malindi sub county deputy County Commissioner has issued a stern warning against cheating during the forthcoming Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) national examinations.

Speaking to Education News in Malindi town recently, Mr. Thuo Wangugi warned teachers, students and parents against facilitating and abetting examination irregularities saying that anybody found guilty of doing the same would immediately be arrested and prosecuted.

Mr. Wangugi noted that exam cheating was a very serious offence and would also lead to the cancellation of  schools’ results.

He told the students that there was no short cut in passing examinations and asked them to work extra harder so as to post impressive performances.

The Deputy County Commissioner further urged teachers to prepare their students well and conduct thorough revisions in all subjects.
