Eight needy students from the four constituencies in the county have benefited in this year’s Wings to Fly scholarship programme of Equity Bank Foundation.
The constituencies include Baringo Central, Baringo North, Baringo South and Tiaty.
Speaking during the flagging off ceremony presided over by Baringo Governor Stanley Kiptis, Kabarnet Equity Branch Manager Willie Bett said that the bank is committed to a journey that will positively impact beneficiaries’ lives through education. Bett added that the programme has helped many students get comprehensive secondary school scholarships asking the beneficiaries seriously to become competent intellectuals who can contribute more to the society. – Alfred Kimosop
