Murang’a University of Technology has confirmed that Constance Mwende Githinji, the TikTok influencer who was tragically murdered and allegedly thrown from the sixth floor of an Airbnb in Kileleshwa, was a student at the institution pursuing a Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology.
According to the university, Constance was in her final year of study before her untimely death, a development that has shocked both the academic community and the public.
She was known among her peers as a vibrant and ambitious young woman balancing her studies with her growing influence on social media.
Family reports indicate that the late student hailed from Kabaa Village in Machakos County.
She is now expected to be laid to rest on May 8,2026, as preparations for her burial continue amid grief and calls for justice.
