The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC) has announced a strategic partnership with ABNO Software International Limited to roll out the EduBridge Platform, a digital tool for managing Portfolios of Evidence (PoE) across assessment centres nationwide.

The council said the collaboration is aimed at enhancing the management and implementation of the Digital Portfolio of Evidence (ePoE) within the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework.

Strengthening Digital Transformation

TVET CDACC described the initiative as part of its ongoing digital transformation agenda and commitment to strengthening assessment and certification processes through technology-driven solutions.

EduBridge was developed by ABNO Software International Limited, the same company that built the official Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) Portal for TVET CDACC. The council noted that the platform is directly integrated with the CBA Portal, making it an extension of existing national systems rather than a standalone application.

The platform is currently the only system officially integrated with the CBA Portal, positioning it as the national standard for digital Portfolio of Evidence submission and assessment.

Benefits for Institutions and Candidates

Through the TVET CDACC portal, EduBridge will provide institutions, trainers, assessors and candidates with a structured and secure environment for preparing, managing and verifying Portfolios of Evidence.

According to the council, the platform is expected to improve assessment readiness, enhance evidence management, support modular curriculum implementation and facilitate efficient assessment and certification processes.

Assessment Centres to Activate Workspaces

As part of the rollout, assessment centres have been required to activate their institutional EduBridge workspaces and facilitate the onboarding of candidates, trainers, assessors and other users.

The activation exercise is intended to ensure institutions and candidates are adequately prepared for the July/August 2026 Assessment Series and future assessment cycles.

The council said detailed guidelines on workspace activation, candidate onboarding, appointment of institutional focal persons, support channels and implementation procedures have been provided to guide the process.

Enhancing Transparency and Employability

Assessors and examiners will be able to access portfolios online at any time, with the platform linking directly to the CBA Portal to facilitate faster reviews, greater transparency and compliance with national assessment standards.

The system will also enable employers to access verified student portfolios, allowing graduates to showcase their competencies and improve their chances of securing employment opportunities.

Verification Exercise Underway

The announcement comes weeks after TVET CDACC launched a separate Portfolio of Evidence verification exercise ahead of the July/August 2026 Assessment Series.

The verification exercise is scheduled to run from June 22 to July 17, 2026, and will cover national polytechnics, technical training institutes, private colleges and universities implementing the CBET framework.
