Bungoma Governor Kenneth Makelo Lusaka has commissioned a new administration block at Lugulu Girls National School, describing the facility as an investment in a conducive learning environment and the future of learners. The commissioning took place on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Lusaka said the modern facility would strengthen the school’s administration and improve service delivery.
“This administration block will enhance service delivery, improve management and create a better environment for both teachers and learners to excel,” said Lusaka.
He added that he was delighted to be part of the ceremony.
Stakeholders commended
The governor also commended the school’s Board of Management, principal, teachers, parents and development partners for their efforts in making the project a reality.
He said continued collaboration among stakeholders was key to strengthening education and improving learning conditions in Bungoma.

Lugulu Girls is a national school in Webuye West Sub-County, Bungoma County, and its administration is headed by Chief Principal Dinah Cheruiyot.
