Kitui County received the lion share of Sh5.4 million followed by Kakamega and Makueni which received Sh3.7 million and Sh3.6 million respectively.

Other counties that received a big share of the grant include Homa Bay (Sh3.4 million), Machakos (Sh3.4 million), Bungoma (Sh3.2 million), Meru (Sh3.1 million), Nakuru (Sh3 million), Kisii (Sh3 million) and Nandi (Sh2.9 million).

Lamu was allocated Sh393,468, Mombasa (Sh484,670) and Isiolo (Sh498,196).

Between November 2019 to January 2021, the project has trained 52,235 teachers.
