TSC releases teacher performance appraisal programmes for Term Two

Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has given specific timelines on when teachers can perform the Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development (TPAD) activities for Term Two.

Teachers have been directed to have submitted their professional documents by the end of the first week of the term which was last week.

Between the second week and the tenth week of the term, TSC has directed the teachers to undertake lesson observations, identifying as well as documenting the teachers’ professional gaps.

The undertaking of teacher professional development to address professional gaps by teachers will be done throughout the term; that’s from the first week to the very last week of the term.

The activities which will take place throughout the term include the internal monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of TPAD process; monitoring the implementation of TPAD process at the zonal, sub-county and county levels by curriculum support officers, sub –county directors and county directors.

Also, the uploading of TPAD data and evidence will be conducted throughout the term. The TPAD rating meetings will be done by the closing date of the term.

TSC directed teachers to upload all their TPAD activities for term two through the revised TPAD online system.
