A tragic incident unfolded this morning at Queen of Angels Turbo School in Uasin Gishu County after a pit latrine caved in, trapping several learners beneath the debris.
The morning incident sent shockwaves through the tight-knit community of the Turbo constituency.
Four students were pulled from the rubble and rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Rescue and recovery efforts are ongoing as emergency teams continue to dig through the wreckage in a race against time.
