Devolution PS Michael Lenasalon has called upon the trainers of trainees (ToTs) to share the same knowledge they acquired from intergovernmental workshop to the community level.
He was speaking at a hotel in Wote, during the official closing of a workshop for participants drawn from four counties of Nairobi, Eastern, Coast, North Eastern regions.
He urged the same TOTs to ensure they establish and operationalize Project Management Committees (PMCs) in each county to make sure that every project is monitored and completed following specifications to the latter.

“The two governments are geared towards making targeted intervention as envisaged in vision 2030. We want to actualize the bottom up economic transformation agenda,” added the PS.
Lenasalon added that this is the second workshop after the first one in Homa bay where 23 were trained.
The training entailed well coordinated interventions under the intergovernmental relations Act providing for an administrative framework for the coordination and enhancement of corporation between the two levels of government.
