Students, teachers of Bishop Muge Secondary survive grilsy accident in West Pokot

Bishop Alexander Muge High School’s bus got involved in an accident along the Kapenguria-Lodwar stretch near Karas area.

On board were 48 learners, four teachers, a cook and a matron who were coming from a church’s education function at St Cecilia Chepareria Girls.

According to reliable sources, all those on board are in stable condition, while those with minor injuries are recuperating at West Pokot County Referral Hospital.

According to an onlooker, two lorries from the Sebit Cement factory were overtaking each other, which caused the bus driver to veer off his lane to save the innocent learners and teachers from harm.

The bus was towed to Kapenguria police station due to a breakdown.
