The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has transferred Mr. Henry Manoti from Nyansabakwa Secondary School to St. Pauls Gekano High School.
The Principal will replace Mr. Evans Mogere who has been heading the institution in acting capacity since February this year.
Confirming the transfer, Nyamira County TSC Director Catherine Mwendwa said the Principal had reported at the new station but did not comment much about who replaced him at his old station.
Following the transfer, St. Pauls Gekano alumni termed the move as long overdue.
They wondered why TSC had taken a lot of time to fill the gaps left behind by transferred or retired Principals.
Led by their Chairman Mr. Gerald Okoko, they asked the incoming Principal to continue improving education standards set by his predecessor.
“We know he is a man of long experience and hope that he will maintain the good performance in national examinations,” he said.
