St. Lukes Boys’ Senior School in Kimilili has announced the phased readmission of students following a temporary closure triggered by unrest that disrupted learning activities last week.
In a notice issued on Monday, June 15, the school administration said the decision to reopen was reached after consultations involving the Ministry of Education, the Board of Management (BOM), and the Parents Association (PA).
According to the schedule released by the school, Grade 10 students will report on June 17, Form Four students on June 18, and Form Three students on June 19. All learners are required to report between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
School management has directed that every student be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the readmission exercise. The administration further stated that all outstanding school fees and other financial obligations must be settled before students are allowed back into the institution.

The school also emphasized adherence to uniform and grooming regulations, warning that students who fail to comply with the prescribed dress code will not be admitted.
As part of the readmission requirements, Form Three and Grade 10 students have been instructed to present valid birth certificates and their KCPE certificates or KJSEA result slips.
The reopening marks a significant step toward restoring normalcy at the institution after the June 9 incident that led to the suspension of learning. Parents have welcomed the move, expressing hope that the school will resume academic activities smoothly and maintain a stable learning environment.
The notice was signed by Chief Principal Innocent Siro Bichage, who urged parents and students to adhere to the outlined guidelines to ensure an orderly readmission process.
