A sombre mood has engulfed teaching fraternity in Bungoma County after a body of a teacher was found in Webuye in a pool of blood.
Simon Nyongesa body was found near Mwalimu House Estate in a pool of blood with several stabs around his body.
The Sunday morning incident left teachers reeling in shock.
The late was Curriculum Support Officer (CSO) in Kopsiro, Mt Elgon.

He served as a teacher in several schools in Webuye before securing a chance as curriculum support officer in Ndivisi then Mt Elgon.
Teachers led by Amos Kisaka said that it is a big blow to teaching fraternity and asked the relevant authorities to do investigation and apprehend the killers.
Police drawn from Webuye West took the body to Webuye County Hospital mortuary.
