Shieywe Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Jael Omunyangoli has urged the government to support the construction of a Muslim madrasa, saying the initiative would strengthen the educational foundation of children in the community.
Speaking during a fundraising drive for the project, Omunyangoli highlighted the role of madrasas in shaping children morally and socially, enabling them to grow into responsible members of society. She commended Muslim religious leaders for their dedication to holistic child development and their contribution to the wider education sector across the county.
The MCA nominee called on fellow politicians to rally behind the project, pledging her own support until completion. She said leaders would be responsible for equipping the facility to ensure a conducive learning environment once construction is finalized.
