President William Ruto has sent a message of condolence to former Justice Minister Martha Karua and her family following the death of her father, retired teacher Jackson Karua.
President Ruto said he had received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of the veteran teacher, who devoted his life to teaching and service. “Jackson Karua devoted his life to teaching and service, touching generations through his work and leaving a lasting impact on many lives,” President Ruto said.
The President joined Martha Karua, the Karua family, relatives and friends in mourning the death of the retired teacher and honouring his life of service. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. May God grant them strength and comfort, and may the soul of Jackson Karua rest in eternal peace,” he said.
Karua, who served as Cabinet Secretary for Justice, National Cohesion and Constitutional Affairs, is among those mourning the loss of her father.

The death of Jackson Karua has prompted messages of condolence from political leaders and other Kenyans, who have joined the family in remembering his contribution to education and service.
