- Kondabilet Senior Secondary School has received a Sh12 million storey tuition block and a modern computer laboratory to expand capacity and digital learning access.
- MP Timothy Toroitich and Senator William Kisang have commissioned the facilities during a ceremony at the school.
- Leaders have pledged continued support for education projects aimed at creating a better learning environment and opportunities for young people.
Students at Kondabilet Senior Secondary School in Cherangany-Chebororwa Ward, Marakwet West Sub-County, are set to benefit from improved learning facilities following the completion of a Sh12 million education infrastructure project.
The investment has resulted in a new storey tuition block and a modern computer laboratory, expanding the school’s capacity to accommodate learners and provide access to digital learning.
The facilities were commissioned by Marakwet West MP Timothy Toroitich and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator William Kipkemoi Kisang during a ceremony at the school.
Speaking during the event, Toroitich said the project was initiated by Kisang before being completed through Sh12 million allocated under his leadership. “Today, we have officially unveiled this new storey building housing modern tuition blocks and a computer laboratory. We are steadily transforming education infrastructure in Marakwet West,” Toroitich said.

Kisang said the school had recorded notable progress in both academic performance and infrastructure, adding that the new facilities would help create a better environment for learning. “The new facilities will provide a more conducive learning environment, enhance access to digital learning and equip learners with essential skills needed to thrive in the field of technology,” he said.
The senator said leaders would continue backing initiatives aimed at improving education and creating opportunities for young people to develop their potential.
The computer laboratory will give students greater access to digital learning resources, while the additional classrooms are expected to ease pressure on existing teaching spaces and improve the learning environment at the institution.
