Defending handball champions Rongena Secondary School have reaffirmed their determination to retain their title after booking a place in the semi-finals of the Narok Amalo Sub-County Term One Secondary games.
Rongena will now face Saire Secondary School in one semi-final clash, while Tengecha Esoit take on Ngiito in the other highly anticipated encounter.
Head coach Beatrice Rono praised her players for their discipline and commitment, noting that they have displayed remarkable maturity and focus throughout the competition. She expressed confidence that the team will maintain their momentum and successfully defend their crown.
In the boys’ category, former champions Rongena also made a strong statement in the early stages of the tournament. They opened their campaign with an impressive 23–15 victory over Naisudori before edging out Ngiito 23–19 in a tightly contested match.

The results secured Rongena a semi-final showdown against Saire, while Tengecha Esoit will battle Naisudori in the second semi-final fixture. The stage is now set for thrilling contests as teams fight for a place in the finals.
Meanwhile, in rugby, former champions Mogoyuet are brimming with confidence ahead of their final match against Siwot. Having demonstrated consistency and resilience throughout the tournament, Mogoyuet believe they have what it takes to reclaim top honors.
