From the courts of St. Joseph’s Boys Kitale to international tournaments across East Africa, Rogelio Caiden Mamai is fast emerging as one of Kenya’s top under-16 lawn tennis players.
In 2024, he won the National Championships and stood out at the FEASSSA Games in Uganda. He has represented Kenya in the ITF J60 Circuit (Nairobi) and the ITF J30 Circuit (Kampala), proving his growing talent on the international stage.

Rogelio has received a call -up and will be travelling in September 2025 for trials at Mouratoglou Zephyrhills Academy,Florida (USA) — a big step toward his dream of becoming a professional and one day winning a Grand Slam.
“My dream is to play and win a Grand Slam in the future.” He said.
Disciplined, focused, and grateful to his mentor Chief Principal Cosmas Nabungolo and coach Joseph Juma as well as his Parents ,Rogelio will represent Rift Valley region at the Nationals this year in Kakamega.
He lives to raise Kenya’s future in tennis in the international games.
