Principal Secretary for Basic Education John Ololtuaa has commissioned a series of development projects at Kimana Girls High School during a thanksgiving ceremony held at the institution.
The projects include seven smart classrooms for Grade 10 learners, a 67-seater school bus, an electric perimeter fence, a renovated computer laboratory and a 22-door ablution block.
The new facilities are expected to improve learning conditions, enhance safety and strengthen transport and ICT infrastructure at the school.
The projects were funded through a collaboration involving the Ministry of Education, Kajiado South NG-CDF and the Anderson Foundation through its “Water for Life” programme.
Speaking during the event, PS Ololtuaa commended the partners for supporting education infrastructure development, noting that the investments would contribute to improved academic performance.

The Principal Secretary also praised the national school for its continued academic progress, highlighting that many learners had attained university entry grades in recent examinations.
He urged students to remain disciplined and focused on their studies.
“I encourage you to work hard, dream big and strive for excellence, while avoiding behaviour that may compromise school safety,” said Ololtuaa.
The event was attended by Kajiado South MP Parashina Sakimba, county leaders, school administrators, board members, parents and other education stakeholders.
