Everybody is asking you, our dear president, to talk to Raila Odinga. The latter seems to be ready for the talks, not really about “Nusu Mkate”. Please, accept to talk in order to save our country the many challenges it is experiencing. All of us want the demonstrations by odinga to end as soon as possible. This can simply be done by your initiating the talks with him.
On the cost of living. Being a shrewd leader, as ever you are, you certainly have a way to show him that things are already improving contrary to his allegations.
What about the opening of the server. You won the elections “early in the morning” in your own words. This can be corroborated by the evidence that is to be found everywhere. The Supreme Court threw out Mr Odinga’s petition after looking at the evidence. What is contained in the server should put to rest everything that he is talking about.
The composition of i.e.b.c. You are on record saying, “even if Mr Raila Odinga chooses his own brother, Oburu Odinga, I shall beat him in the elections”. Why don’t you remain as good as your word? Why are you now being accused of putting in place an electoral board that seems to favor you?
Mr President, you have repeatedly said that you believe in the rule of law. But a number of things on your part seem to suggest otherwise.
Mr odinga’s demonstrations have been, by and large, peaceful. They have invariably started off as peaceful marches and gone on that way until they are turned into violence by (your) police. The police have had without provocation thrown tear gases at these peaceful processions. It is this aggression by the police that has led to violent confrontations.
Some stones have been thrown at the police officers, that are right. But who is to blame for the whole thing where, sometimes, live bullets have been used resulting into the deaths of some demonstrators and for completely innocent, unconcerned persons.
There is this other matter. The invasion of Uhuru kenyatta’s farm at ruiru and the attack on Raila’s Gas Company. Who organized and sent the goons to carry out these acts? And are we supposed to believe that these things have no connection with what Kimani Ichungwa and others like him said shortly before they happened? Why were the police absent at both places? These and other questions are being asked and nobody seems to be with the answers. Once again I implore you, dear president. Talk to raila and let there be peace.
