Ambira Boys Senior School has a new administrator at the helm following the official assumption of office by Chief Principal Philemon Obenge.

Obenge took over the leadership of the school on Tuesday, succeeding Boaz Adit, who has left the institution following his transfer to Kabarnet Boys High School in Baringo County.

The transition was marked by a handover ceremony held at the Principal’s Boardroom and attended by members of the school’s Board of Management, representatives of the parents’ leadership and the Sub-County Director of Education.

Obenge outlines priorities

During the ceremony, Obenge outlined his commitment to strengthening the school’s academic performance while also promoting excellence in co-curricular activities.

He said his administration would work closely with teachers, learners, parents and other stakeholders to build on the gains already made by the institution.

His appointment comes at a time when schools are placing greater emphasis on holistic education, with academic achievement being complemented by talent development, discipline and participation in co-curricular activities.

New chapter for Ambira Boys

Outgoing Chief Principal Boaz Adit was commended for his service to the school as he handed over the leadership responsibilities to his successor. His departure marks the beginning of a new chapter for Ambira Boys as Obenge assumes responsibility for guiding the institution into its next phase.
