Nyakach Girls High School goalkeeper Valarie Achieng has been named the Best Goalkeeper of the concluded Nyanza Region Chapa Dimba Season Five.
Achieng, who is part of the Junior Starlets setup, continued her impressive form between the posts, earning recognition for her outstanding performances during the regional tournament.
The award adds to an impressive collection of individual honours for the promising custodian, who has now secured three Golden Gloves in recent competitions.
Third Golden Glove for Achieng
Her growing list of accolades includes the Golden Glove at the second edition of the Gates Super 16 Tournament, the Kisumu County Chapa Dimba Season Five and, most recently, the Nyanza Region Chapa Dimba Season Five.
The latest recognition underlines Achieng’s growing reputation as one of the promising young goalkeepers in Kenyan football.
