Kitale schools have dominated Kenya’s final Under-15 squad for the 2026 FIFA U15 World Cup and Festival in Azerbaijan, with St Joseph’s Kitale and St Anthony Boys Kitale together supplying five of the 14 players named by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF). It comprises two goalkeepers, four defenders, four midfielders and four forwards.
The squad features players drawn from secondary and junior secondary schools across the country, among them goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards from Kisumu, Garissa, Butere, Mumias and other regions.
St Joseph's Kitale has the highest representation with three players: midfielders Innocent Media and Javan Ochieng, and forward Erick Masika Mamati. St Anthony Boys Kitale has two, defender Junior Otieno and forward Roy Clinton, so the two Kitale schools together supply five of the 14 players. The rest come from institutions in different regions.(Education News Kenya — https://educationnews.co.ke/news/kitale-schools-dominate-kenyas-u15-squad-for-fifa-world-cup-and-festival-in-azerbaijan)
