Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has announced the return of his online learning initiative, offering a dedicated revision session for students preparing for the 2026 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.
The online revision class is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2026, starting at 7:30 pm.
During the session, the legislator will guide candidates through Mathematics Paper 1 and Paper 2, focusing on key concepts and topics frequently tested in national examinations.
To ensure broad access for students across the country, the live session will be broadcast across several digital platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X and Instagram.
Candidates, parents and educators are encouraged to log on early with writing materials and reference tools so that learners can actively participate and sharpen their problem-solving skills ahead of the main written examinations.
Initiative launched during COVID-19 pandemic
First launched in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic to help learners cope with disruptions to schooling, the legislator's online lessons have continued to provide revision opportunities for national examination candidates.
The upcoming session comes as candidates make their final preparations for the main KCSE written examinations, scheduled to begin on November 2 and conclude on November 20, 2026.
By breaking down complex mathematical concepts into manageable steps, the initiative aims to build candidates' confidence, strengthen their understanding of fundamental techniques and improve their examination preparedness.
