Embakasi East MP Babu Owino once again demonstrated his passion for education after his live Mathematics revision class for KCSE 2025 candidates attracted a record-breaking one million views within just one hour of streaming on Saturday evening.
The highly anticipated online session, streamed via his official Facebook page, focused on Mathematics Paper 1 and Paper 2, and drew students, teachers, and parents from across the country.
Many people hailed the initiative as a game-changer in exam preparation, especially for candidates from underprivileged backgrounds.
“Education is the greatest equaliser,” Babu posted ahead of the session. Parents should allow their children to use phones and bundles to follow these life-changing lessons,” he said.
Babu Owino, who began offering free online classes during the COVID-19 lockdown, has continued to use digital platforms to reach learners nationwide.

His engaging teaching approach, energy, and mastery of mathematics have made him one of the most followed education advocates in Kenya.

“My dream is to see every child, regardless of background, access quality education and succeed. No student should be left behind,” Babu affirmed.
