Kiharu Member of Parliament (MP) Ndindi Nyoro has launched Kiharu Technical and Vocational College (Kiharu TVC), opening the gates to the local trainees to acquire relevant skills for future use.
During the same event, the MP also opened the Mwai Kibaki Tuition Block, named after the former President Mwai Kibaki within the institution; owing to recognition of his deeds.

Speaking at the institution located in Kiambugi area in Gaturi ward, MP Ndindi said the college has more than 2,000 learners drawn from all corners of the country is ready to accomodate more.
“As we launched the Co-Funded Kiharu NG-CDF, we also commissioned and officially opened The Mwai Kibaki Tuition Block that was recently constructed by the ,” said the MP.

In the same function, the law maker also handed over Ksh 4.2 million from the NG-CDF to facilitate the procurement of various equipment needed in the workshops, and Ksh 10 million to St Paul’s Boys, Gathuki-ini, for the purchase of a School Bus.
The college Principal Dr Daniel Wahungu, and the Chairman, Rueben Nyagia, lauded the MP for his exemplary job.
