The Ministry of Education has appointed former Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Director, Tom Mulati as the new principal at the Kisii National Polytechnic. He takes over from Daniel Nyariki who died recently.

Mulati has been the principal of Kisumu-based Ramogi Institute of Science and Technology commonly known as RIAT until the new deployment. On the other hand, Mulati will be replaced at RIAT by Gilbert Mwavali who until the transfer was heading Sabatia Technical and Vocational College (TVC) in Vihiga County.

Education News has learnt that Grace Titi will be proceeding from Butere TVC where she was the Deputy Principal to Sabatia TVC as the new head thus replacing Mwavali.
Mulati has headed several colleges including Kisiwa TTI in Bungoma County and Sigalagala National Polytechnic before being appointed to the high profile docket of Acting Director for Technical Education.
