Kitutu Masaba Member of Parliament Shadarak Mose has put on notice school heads who misappropriate funds given to their schools for development from the NG-CDF kitty.
Mose noted that some rogue heads in collusion with some members of Boards of Management misuse the funds.
He said he will not allow public funds meant for development to be misappropriated or diverted to other uses by those entrusted with the responsibility.
The legislator asked officials from provincial administration and Ministry of Education to keenly monitor how funds given to schools in their areas of jurisdiction were being utilized.
He warned that those found misusing the funds from the kitty risked arrest.
Mose made the remarks when he distributed over Sh 22 million for various development projects to primary and secondary schools.
He assured his constituents that the exercise of disbursing the funds was transparent contrary to rumors peddled by his political detractors.
