Moi University flags off fake admission letter circulating online, says not yet

Moi University has come out to denounce the fake admission letter circulating online, urging the students and parents to be more vigilant as it is yet to release the official admission letter.

“Moi University wishes to clarify that; The Admission letters have not been released, Moi University doesn’t charge any fee to download or receive admission letter, any SMS claiming otherwise is fraudulent,” reads part of the message.

According to Moi University, the Admission letters are yet to be released, they asked Kenyans and mostly those who got to be admitted to the institution to stay vigilant and not fall for such.

The institution further cautioned their prospects to only expect communication via bulk SMS registered under MOI UNIVERSITY.

Moi University earlier announced that this year 6771 students had been placed to pursue different courses in the institution.
