Kusolo Chepkesei, a form four student at Moi Girls High School, has emerged the best girl in the just concluded national Mathematics contest held at Kapsabet Boys High School.
The good performance earned Chepkesei a full scholarship to pursue a course of her choice at Strathmore University courtesy of Grace International Kenya.
Maureen Cherono and Agigael Cherono from Kipsigis Girls emerged positions two and three respectively in the girls’ category.
Kelvin Kemboi, a form four candidate at Kapsabet Boys High School, won in the boys category and earned a scholarship to study at a university of his choice in Australia
Odera Wise from Nyangori Boys High School scooped position two while Sheldon Odhiambo from Eshikulu High School won the third position.
The theme of this year’s contest was ‘Creating Learning Avenue and to Showcase Skills That include Confidence and Critical Thinking’.
The contest brought together 4,000 students from 200 schools.
Grace International Kenya as more than a decade-long history of serving students for further studies in Australia, New Zealand, UK, USA and Canada.
