Matili Technical Training Institute (MTTI) in Bungoma County is set to hold its 3rd graduation ceremony in April 2026, a key milestone that underscores the institution’s growing role in empowering youth through technical and vocational education.
The Chief Principal Judith Sande, confirmed to Education News that preparations are in full swing to ensure a memorable event for students, parents, trainers, and stakeholders.
“This graduation is a significant moment for our students who have dedicated years to mastering technical and vocational skills. It is also a celebration of the institute’s commitment to shaping futures and creating opportunities through education,” Sande said.
The ceremony, themed “Empowering Skills, Shaping Futures,” will see hundreds of students awarded diplomas and certificates across a variety of technical programs. The institute currently serves over 10,000 students, highlighting its role as one of the leading hubs for technical and vocational education in the region.
Over the years, MTTI has steadily grown in reputation, offering programs designed to meet industry demands and equip learners with practical skills that can translate directly into employment or entrepreneurship opportunities.
