Form Three students at Mang’u High School will resume learning on Monday, June 15, 2026, following a temporary closure that disrupted normal school operations.

In a notice issued to parents and guardians, Chief Principal Bernard King’ah directed that all Form Three students report back to school between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the readmission process.

Conditions for readmission

The school administration outlined several conditions that must be met before students are allowed back.

Among them is the requirement that all students be clean-shaven before reporting, as shaving services will not be available within the institution.

Parents have also been instructed to clear any outstanding school fees before readmission.

Additionally, each student will be required to contribute Sh1,000 towards the repair of damages incurred during the unrest that led to the school’s closure.

Strict guidelines issued

According to the notice, students will only be allowed to bring personal effects, with unauthorized items prohibited from entering the school compound.

The administration further provided a payment procedure for the damages contribution, directing parents to use the school paybill number and indicate the student’s admission number followed by the word “Damages” as the account number.

Appeal to parents

The school has appealed for cooperation from parents and guardians to ensure a smooth and orderly readmission process as learning resumes.
