Its song and dance at both Kisumu Boys and Girls High schools after the two learning institutions posted impressive results in the just released 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, (KCSE) results.
The students of the two schools, who could not hide their joy, poured out in the city in jubilation and songs of victory joined by their teachers and parents.
According to Kisumu Boys Chief principal Augustine Muma, the school had so far identified 10 As, revealing that two candidates scored 84 points.
At the neighboring Kisumu Girls, the chief principal Doreen Odhiambo said they had so far identified 9 As and hoped for more as the results continue trickling in.

The top student at the school Marion Ndeda secured an A plain with a total of 84 points and said she would like to pursue a career in surgery and medicine.
Both school heads are positive of better results compared to the previous years.
Muma attributed the good results to hard work and determination among teachers, students and other stakeholders alike.
Elsewhere, Chulaimbo High school also posted an impressive result with a candidate securing A plain of 84 points.
