In the girls’ category, reigning champions Kaplong Girls High School will face Moi Siongiroi Girls Secondary School in the final.
The stage is set for an exciting showdown as reigning champions Kimulot Boys High School take on former champions Tenwek High School in the final of the Bomet County Secondary Schools 3×3 Basketball Championship at the Bomet University basketball court today.
Kimulot booked their place in the final after edging out Kaplong Boys High School 12-9 in a tightly contested semifinal.
The defending champions displayed resilience and composure to overcome a spirited Kaplong side and keep their title defence on course.
Former champions Tenwek High School also secured a narrow victory in the other semifinal, defeating Longisa Boys High School 8-7.
The match remained balanced throughout, but Tenwek’s experience proved decisive as they clinched a one-point win to advance to the championship match.
The boys’ final promises to be a thrilling encounter between two of Bomet’s most successful basketball programmes, with Kimulot seeking to retain their crown while Tenwek aim to reclaim the title they once held.

In the girls’ category, reigning champions Kaplong Girls High School will face Moi Siongiroi Girls Secondary School in the final.
Moi Siongiroi earned their place in the title match after a convincing 11-5 victory over St. Benedict Secondary School in the semifinal.
The team produced a dominant performance on both ends of the court to secure the win.
Kaplong Girls, meanwhile, survived a tough challenge from Chebonei Girls Secondary School, winning 8-6 in a closely fought semifinal to keep their hopes of retaining the title alive.
With county bragging rights at stake, basketball fans are expected to flock to the Bomet University court for what promises to be an entertaining day of 3×3 basketball action featuring some of the county’s finest young talent.
