The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) has announced vacancies for 17 qualified professionals to fill various positions on a permanent and pensionable basis.
The positions cut across senior management, human resource management, research, quality assurance, printing and publishing, technical services, security, administration and curriculum development.
Among the senior positions advertised are Senior Deputy Director, Corporate Services, and Senior Deputy Director, Research, Quality Assurance and Consultancy, both at KICD Grade 2. The institute is also seeking to recruit a Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Development at Grade 3, as well as Assistant Directors in Printing and Publishing, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management and Technical Services, all at Grade 4.
Other vacancies include Principal Security Officer, Principal Human Resource Management and Development Officer, Principal Producer (TV), Principal Planning Officer and Principal Officer Administrator, all at KICD Grade 5.

At the technical and operational levels, KICD has advertised positions for Assistant Studio Technical Operator III and Assistant Printing and Publishing Technician III, both at Grade 9. The institute is also recruiting Curriculum Development Officer II, Marine and Fisheries Technology; Curriculum Development Officer, Media Technology; and Office Administrator II, all at Grade 8.
Interested applicants are required to submit an application letter, an up-to-date curriculum vitae, academic and professional certificates, relevant testimonials, National Identification Card details, current mobile telephone numbers and the names, telephone numbers and addresses of two referees.
Applications are to be addressed to the Director/Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, P.O. Box 30231-00100, Nairobi, and submitted through the designated virtual application link provided in the advertisement. The deadline for submission of applications is October 9, 2026.

KICD has advised applicants to ensure that all required information and supporting documents are provided and that applications are successfully submitted through the virtual platform before the deadline. The institute stated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and warned that canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification.
Persons with disabilities and candidates from marginalised groups have also been encouraged to apply.
